Purpose and scope

Define the dashboards and how they are used in weekly/monthly/quarterly reviews.

Outcomes

  • Single source of truth for trends and anomalies.
  • Team filters and service groupings.
  • Review notes and annotations preserved.

Signals of trouble

  • Multiple dashboards with conflicting numbers.
  • Reviews without hypotheses or follow-ups.
  • Leaders request raw counts without context.

Remediation steps

  1. Stand up a canonical dashboard with time-series per metric.
  2. Add filters (team, service, product area) and annotation capability.
  3. Embed review frequency and owners in the engineering calendar.
